How Does WindowStrong Make Window Installation So Easy?
More than anything else, WindowStrong customers ask about the installation process. After all, it makes perfect sense: You want to know how your daily life is going to be impacted, and to gain a better understanding of what to expect.

Once we’ve received your windows, confirmed that everything is in good condition, and that all materials are on hand, the installation process can begin.
Overall, an average installation (8-10 windows) will take approximately one day, although you’ll know well in advance if we think yours might take longer. As soon as we arrive, we’ll begin covering floors and furniture to prevent any damage, but we highly recommend that most furniture is relocated at least 4 feet away from any construction area.
After your existing windows are removed, we’ll be able to get a much better look at the condition of your wood. If we find that there is minor rot here and there, we’ll be happy to replace these areas free of charge. However, if there is an extensive amount of wood rot present, we may have to reassess the timetable and other factors. Whatever situation arises, we’ll keep you informed so that you can make the right decision, while ensuring that there are no breakdowns in the larger scheme of things.
With over 10 years of experience, our installation team will make sure that your windows are completely level and watertight before wrapping up for the day. In fact, we’ll even clean your windows on the way out!
WindowStrong’s 10-Step, No-Stress Window Installation Process
Once your contract is complete, our installation manager will arrive at your home with 2-4 days in order to take measurements, which will take a few hours (don’t worry, we’ll schedule an appointment with you in advance). For many companies, this is often where problems first begin, so we take great care to ensure our measurements are spot on.
After closely monitoring your order and notifying you of any adjustments that need to be made, once we’ve got everything in hand (usually within 2–4 weeks), we’ll schedule your installation.
On installation day, we’ll arrive between 8am and 10am, and will get right to work. Because we’ll be the ones delivering your windows, we’ll have all the necessary materials and tools on our truck.
Prior to removing your existing windows, we’ll re-measure everything to make sure that the order is correct. After all, the last thing we want to do is take out your windows, only to realize the new ones are the wrong size!
Now the real fun begins! After we’ve covered all your floors and furniture, we’ll start removing your existing windows, beginning on the top floor and working our way down. Why? Because this prevents dust and construction debris from falling onto your brand new windows. And don’t worry—we’ll haul away your old windows when we leave, which is one less thing you have to worry about.

Next, we’ll seal all your new windows, inside and out.
After installation is complete, we’ll thoroughly clean up and remove any construction debris. This includes vacuuming around installation areas, cleaning windows and frames, and disposing of your old windows.
Now, the Crew Leader will perform a final inspection following a strict checklist. This is also when you’ll be shown how your new windows work, and is an opportunity for you to ask any questions.
As long as everything is to your satisfaction, final payment will be due. Then, it’s time to enjoy your brand new, high quality (and highly affordable) windows!
